Bangladesh Foreign Minister Momen believes anti-Russian sanctions have hit partners significantly
UN, September 22 – RIA Novosti. Foreign Minister of the South Asian country, Abdulkalam Abdul Momen, told RIA Novosti that the sanctions imposed on Russia due to the events in Ukraine hit the countries cooperating with Moscow, and Bangladesh called for the Ukraine problem to be “solved as soon as possible”.
“You see, this war, the Ukraine war, is causing difficulties for many countries, including Bangladesh, which is far from the war. This is because of sanctions. As you know, we were importing a number of goods from both Ukraine and Ukraine. We are about to attend the events of the UN General Assembly high-level week. “The war has also greatly disrupted the very important financial transaction chains,” said Momen, who is based in New York.
On behalf of his country, the minister called for “an immediate end to the conflict in Ukraine” for the welfare of various peoples.
“Sanctions have been introduced to punish Russia, but unfortunately the sanctions do not punish it as much as ordinary people. Therefore, we call for dialogue to resolve this issue through peaceful means,” said the head of Bangladesh’s Foreign Ministry.
