Bloomberg: Cyprus, Hungary oppose Russian oil price ceiling

As the agency noted, the signing of the deal could be delayed until a broader sanctions package is agreed upon.
According to agency sources, Cyprus and Hungary are among the countries that oppose the proposal to set a cap on oil prices, and such issues in the EU require unanimity.
The agency previously reported that EU member states are trying to finalize a deal that will raise Russian oil prices within a few weeks, following the announcement of partial mobilization in Russia. Commenting on the West’s idea of limiting the prices of Russian energy supplies, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia will not supply anything abroad if it goes against its own interests.
