Iran wants to establish joint ventures with Russia to produce auto parts
MOSCOW, September 29 – RIA Novosti. Najafi Manesh, Chairman of the Iranian Parts Production Association, told RIA Novosti that Iran is interested in forming joint ventures with Russia for the production of automotive parts.
According to him, Iranian manufacturers are ready to cooperate in many fields.
“The first is the export of auto parts that the Russian Federation needs, the second is the import of auto parts we need from Russia, such as automobile engines, automobile brake parts, and the third and most important is the joint production of vehicles,” said Manesh.
He noted that since the Russian Federation and Iran work with Renault, both countries can exchange auto parts for cars of this brand.
“We have more than two thousand kinds of production parts. These include airbags, brake pads, steering wheel, body… About three thousand parts are used in a car, we produce between two and two and a half thousand. Of course, they are also produced in the Russian Federation ( Therefore, we must combine the talents of both countries,” added Manesh.
