Answering a question about the possibility of a possible reduction in tariffs and taxes on traditional Mongolian exports imported into Russia, Abramchenko said, “And the second direction is traditional Mongolian cashmere. These goods can replace Western brands leaving the Russian Federation.”

“Today we heard such a demand from the Mongolian side that this is an obstacle to eliminating the mutual distortion in trade. We agreed that we will find a solution to this problem in 2023,” Abramchenko said.

He explained that this is two groups of goods – agricultural products in general and, first of all, the meat group, for which it is very important to pay attention to the state of veterinary safety.

“I will give a simple example: There is a border region – there is a demand for the supply of breeding cattle, breeding yaks and breeding sheep from the Republic of Buryatia and Mongolia.
