Rosstat: Inflation in Russia rose to 0.06 percent from 8 to 14 November

The increase in fruit and vegetable prices accelerated. In the week of 8-14 November, it rose 2% after rising 1.3% the previous week. Prices including cucumbers increased by 6.4%, tomatoes by 5.6%, potatoes by 1.2%, onions by 0.4%, and bananas by 0.3%. At the same time, carrot prices decreased by 0.9%, cabbage prices decreased by 0.4%, and apple prices decreased by 0.2%.
Price reductions were recorded in 22 items from 34 product positions (excluding fruit and vegetables). Sugar and buckwheat fell the most – 1.07% and 1.05%. Next comes sunflower oil – its price fell by 0.8%. During the reporting week, the price of both vegetable and meat canned food for baby food fell – 0.6% and 0.58%. In addition, prices for noodles – 0.4%, dry milk formulas for pork, sausages, sausages, baby food – 0.3%, for semi-smoked and boiled-smoked sausages, sour cream, cottage cheese, rice, baby food fruit and berry canned food – 0.2%, boiled sausage, butter, rennet, table salt – 0.1%.
While a price increase was observed in 12 types of products, biscuits increased by 0.5% at most. Egg 0.36%, beef – 0.23%, wheat flour pasta – 0.21%, tea – 0.17%, fish – 0.16%, flour – 0.12%, sterilized milk and rye bread – 0.1%
Among the non-food essentials, the leaders in price increase are: washing powder – plus 0.37%, toothpastes – plus 0.33% and dry pet food – plus 0.31%. Match prices rose 0.26% and laundry soap prices rose 0.1%. At the same time, diaper prices decreased by 0.4%, newborn diaper prices decreased by 0.3%, and toilet soap prices decreased by 0.1%.
In the week between November 8 and 14, the sales day, vacuum cleaners increased by 1.42% and TVs increased by 0.09%; the price of smartphones fell – 0.51%. Domestic passenger car prices did not change, while foreign cars increased by 0.03 percent. The price of diesel decreased by 0.02%, the price of diesel – increased by 0.45%.
During the reporting week, Rosstat recorded increases in prices for a number of drugs, including anti-inflammatory drug Nimesulide, Corvalol, Allochol, cough remedy Rengalin and multivitamins, which were observed in weekly dynamics.
Cost of flight in economy class cabin decreased by 3.21% (up 2.14% a week ago).
