Reshetnikov said, “The potential to increase mutual trade is obvious. Considering that export-import has been redirected, we can double our current foreign trade turnover in the coming years.”

He noted that more than 900 Russian companies from 70 regions cooperate with Azerbaijan. The top ten most active Russian regions account for 70% of trade turnover, that is, we have such a core of leaders. Overall, according to the minister, Russia ranks third among Azerbaijan’s foreign trade partners.

Reshetnikov also pointed out the importance of diversifying trade relations between countries and changing the supply spectrum.
