Destatis: Germany’s exports to Russia fell 59.2 percent to one billion euros in October
BERLIN, 21 November – RIA Novosti. German statistics office Destatis said that in October 2022, Germany’s exports to Russia fell by 59.2% compared to October last year, to 1 billion euros.
Germany’s exports to the Russian Federation decreased by 59.2% compared to October 2021 to 1.0 billion euros, as a result of the war in Ukraine and the sanctions imposed on Russia.
Thus, in October 2022, Russia ranked 12th among non-EU countries to which German exports go. In February 2022, Russia took 5th place in this indicator.
The United States ranks first among non-EU countries where product deliveries from Germany are sent. In October this year, Germany’s exports to the United States increased by 28.1% compared to the same period of 2021, reaching 13.9 billion euros.
