KRASNODAR, 22 November – RIA Novosti. Krasnodar Territory Governor Veniamin Kondratyev told reporters that more than 480 large investment projects worth 2.6 trillion rubles have been implemented in the Kuban, which is a record figure for the region in the last 15 years.

According to him, new projects for import substitution are also being started today. “It’s important that it all comes to an end,” the governor said.

He also added that the implementation of all projects planned for today will create about 82,000 new jobs in the Krasnodar Territory.

According to regional authorities, one of the important investment projects in the Southern Federal District is the construction of the Udarnaya thermal power plant in the Crimea region. The facility will support the stable operation of the Crimean peninsula’s energy system, as well as solving the problem of energy shortage in the municipality. The facility is scheduled to be commissioned in 2023. In addition, in the Kavkazsky district, the construction of the Dostoyanie industrial park, whose value exceeds 5 billion rubles, is being completed.

The governor reminded that entrepreneurs in the Kuban can receive subsidies for the creation of infrastructure facilities and payment of interest on investment loans. The region also has the status of a regional investment project. It provides a property tax exemption and a reduced income tax rate for organizations implementing an investment project. In addition, existing state support measures are being modernized.

“To do this, we constantly hold meetings with businesses to understand what kind of help is in demand,” Kondratiev said.

In 2022, the Krasnodar Territory was among the top 10 most comfortable and attractive regions of Russia according to the results of the National Investment Climate Rating created by the Strategic Initiatives Agency.
