“Moskvich-3” is a compact crossover with a 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 150 horsepower. It is installed in conjunction with a CVT automatic transmission (variator) or a six-speed “mechanics”.
The plant is scheduled to produce 400 such machines by the end of the year. According to the certification documents, the model is a version of the Chinese crossover JAC JS4.
In May, French automaker Renault handed over the Renault Russia plant to the Moscow government. Shortly after the completion of the transaction, the name of the business was changed to “Moskvich”. According to the company’s plans, the factory will produce four crossovers, one electric and the other sedan.
