MOSCOW, November 25 – RIA Novosti. The head of Roskachestvo, Maxim Protasov, in the framework of the first Russian winemaking forum, summarized the results of the fifth “Wine Guide of Russia” and selected the leaders of red and white wines, among which were Autochthon Saperavi (Fanagoria). Sauvignon blanc (Alma Valley) and Merlot reserve (Tristoria “).

It has been clarified that the “Russian Wine Directory” is an annual project implemented by Roskachestvo jointly with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Agriculture, with the support of the Russian Agricultural Bank. This year Roskachestvo examined 500 samples of wine made exclusively from Russian grapes. All of them are purchased at retail and the price of one bottle is up to 1000 rubles, the main focus is on the price category of up to 600 rubles per 0.75 liters.

Experts concluded that the best dry red wines in the cheap segment are made by winemakers in the Krasnodar Territory, semi-dry wines are best obtained in the Don, and the homeland of semi-sweet reds is Crimea. In addition, the leader of the dry wine rating was bought by buyers for 425 rubles, the top ten red wines also included samples worth 399 rubles. Among semi-sweet wines, the best sample costs 379 rubles. The leader in terms of price and quality ratio was Cabernet “Chateau Taman”, which was purchased for 279 rubles and received a rating of 81 points.

At the same time, in terms of regional representation of wines, winemakers from the Krasnodar Territory and Crimea competed almost equally in quality in the category of white wines. It is also worth noting some of the successes of Don Valley winemakers highlighted in Roskachestvo in semi-sweet wines. The top ten also included Chateau Tamagne Sauvignon for 240.21 rubles. It also became a leader in terms of price-quality ratio.

“In the 5-year research of the Russian Wine Directory, we have achieved a steady increase in the quality of domestic wine products. The quality of wine has not decreased with the decrease in imports and the increase in demand, but on the contrary, it continues to grow and contributes to the formation of a consumption culture in the country. An important result in the 5-year period is its technological flaws. The reason for this is that the share of wines, which are of the highest quality, has decreased from 5.37% to 0.2%. Increasing competition among producers in terms of quality”.

“In recent years, thanks to the increase in investments in our country and the widespread use of government support, viticulture areas and yields are systematically increasing, the quality of wine products and the culture of consumption are improving. Today, the best Russian wines are recognized in various international competitions and receive the highest marks. Further development of this field, comprehensive government Next year, funding for the main federal project will increase almost 1.5 times and reach 3.5 billion rubles, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Andrey Razin emphasized in his speech at the forum that by 2030 it will reach a total of 26.4 billion rubles.
