MOSCOW, November 25 – RIA Novosti. The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation has created a federal register of vineyards to analyze and evaluate the current potential for the development of viticulture, the ministry said in a statement.
Increasing the area of vineyards of fruiting age by 35% by 2030 is the main goal of the federal project “Promoting viticulture and winemaking”: according to the document, it is planned to allocate a total of 26.4 billion rubles. State support for this.
The implementation of the federal project began in 2022: financing for 2023 was provided in the amount of 3.5 billion rubles, which is 46% higher than in the current year.
“From January to October, wine production has already increased by 9% to 27 million deciliters, sparkling wine – increased by 26.7% to 11.7 million deciliters, cognac – increased by 14.7% to 7.2 million deciliters. Therefore, special attention is given to the development of wine consumption culture in our country.
