Ministry of Industry and Trade: KamAZ will start full-scale production of K5 generation trucks from February
MOSCOW, November 26 – RIA Novosti. According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, in February Kamaz will begin full-scale production of trucks of the K5 generation, using components that do not depend on supplies from hostile countries.
“From February 2023, it is planned to provide full-scale production of trucks of the K5 generation using components that do not depend on supplies from hostile countries,” the ministry said.
Kamaz is the largest truck manufacturer in Russia. It has assembly plants in Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Pakistan and India. The main shareholders of the automaker are state company Rostec (47.1%), Avtoinvest (23.54%) and Daimler AG (15%).
