The Central Bank of Russia plans to implement inter-system interaction of the fast payment system with several countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) at the end of 2023. project Regulatory “Main directions of development of the financial market of the Russian Federation for 2023-2025”.
As stated in the document in general, Bank of Russia will continue to improve its FPS services.
“The ability to make online payments through the SBP is planned to be scaled up to the budget system (C2G) of the Russian Federation, including the payment of taxes, fines, fees and charges, and to contribute to the expansion of support for this service by credit institutions. Also, in SBP, the state’s support to citizens is planned. It is planned to implement a service (G2C service) for online payment, which will increase the efficiency of receiving payments from the budget.”
