“Moldovagaz”: the purchase price of gas in December will drop to $785 per thousand cubic meters
CHISINAU, 30 November – RIA Novosti. The purchase price of Russian gas for Moldova in December will be $785 per thousand cubic meters, which is $36 lower than in November. reported Vadim Cheban, head of the company “Moldovagaz”.
In November, the republic bought gas at $821 per thousand cubic meters.
“The purchase price of natural gas supplied to the Republic of Moldova in December will be US$785 per thousand cubic meters for JSC Moldovagaz, considering its calorific value,” Ceban said in a statement on his Telegram channel.
According to him, the volume of supply will remain at the same level – 5.7 million cubic meters per day.
In October last year, Moldovan authorities agreed with Gazprom to extend the gas supply contract to the republic in 2022, subject to inspection of Moldovagaz debt. “Gazprom” reported that it reserves the right to completely cease gas supplies to Moldova, due to the fact that “Moldovagaz” violated its payment obligations and deadlines for signing an agreement on the payment of historical debt.
