The Russian manufacturing industry PMI index rose to 53.2 from 50.7 in November.

MOSCOW, December 1 – RIA Novosti. In the report, it was stated that the business activity index (PMI) of the manufacturing industries of the Russian Federation rose to 53.2 points in November from 50.7 points in October. S&P Global.

The seasonally adjusted S&P Global Russia Manufacturing PMI was 53.2 in November from 50.7 in October, indicating a significant improvement in Russian manufacturers’ working conditions.

It is stated that the growth of the indicator has accelerated noticeably and is the fastest since 2017.

The value of the index above 50 points indicates an increase in economic activity, and below it a decrease.

Previously, this index was called the IHS Markit PMI, but is now part of the Markit research organization S&P Global.
