Three thousand people from six countries will attend the machine-building forum in Kazan
WIN, December 7 – RIA Novosti. The Tatarstan Machine-Making Forum opens in Kazan on Wednesday and will be attended by more than 3,000 people from six countries.
“The Forum is a large-scale event for the entire engineering industry… We expect more than 3,000 participants from 34 regions of Russia, six countries. 14 business events, B2B talks and an exhibition are planned,” said Oleg. Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan – Minister of Industry and Trade Korobchenko
The Minister noted that one of the priority tasks facing Tatarstan’s machine-building complex today is to increase the competitiveness and innovative potential of the industry. According to him, the forum aims to discuss the development of scientific and technical potential, problems of import substitution, as well as the development of its own technologies and infrastructure in the field of mechanical engineering.
Ways to overcome technological dependence, the development of the engineering industry, the possibility of import substitution, the promotion of scientific achievements and developments in the production processes of enterprises will be discussed at the plenary meeting. Roundtable meetings are planned on foreign market entry, the development of additive technologies and mechanisms to support the industry in the face of economic turmoil.
The special exhibition “Engineering. Metalworking. Welding. Boiler” within the framework of the forum will clearly demonstrate advanced solutions for the modernization of the Russian machine-building complex. More than 70 companies will participate in the exhibition, they will present equipment not only of Russian production, but also from Belarus, India, China, Poland and South Korea.
It is also planned to sign a series of agreements. The Forum is organized with the support of the President of Tatarstan. The organizers are the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic, the Kazan Municipality, JSC “Kazanskaya Yarmarka”.
