Tinkoff ATMs start accepting yuan, some deposit possible
MOSCOW, December 15 – RIA Novosti. While “Tinkoff Bank” ATMs are starting to accept cash yuan, while some ATMs can only deposit foreign currency, their number will increase depending on the demand for such transactions, says in the message of the press service of the credit institution.
So far, only a fraction of ATMs will be able to deposit Chinese currency as part of a pilot project. However, the bank noted that in the near future, it will be more in operations with cash yuan depending on customers’ demand.
Tinkoff instantly responds to customers’ growing demand for foreign exchange transactions. In September, deposits in yuan were launched, customers warmly welcomed them and began to actively diversify their savings.
