Kamchatka Governor Solodov: There is no shortage of caviar, price rises amid inflation
MOSCOW, December 29 – RIA Novosti. Kamchatka Governor Vladimir Solodov told RIA Novosti that there is no need to wait for caviar shortages this year, Kamchatka fully meets the country’s needs, while the increase in caviar prices does not exceed inflation.
He explained that according to the latest data, the increase in the price of caviar was 14 percent.
“In terms of production – I emphasize once again – we provide one hundred percent of the entire volume of caviar, pollock, salmon and other aquatic biological resources in our region,” the agency’s interlocutor explains.
