Lyubimova: Ministry of Emergencies and Agriculture risks personnel shortages for drone operators

With a horizon of 2-3 years, as a new market and demand emerges, as security requirements are determined, as an appropriate regulatory framework is prepared, the annual market staff demand will increase. Vasily Tretyakov, adviser to the rector of the University 2035, believes that in the next 2-3 years, drone control skills may become necessary for police officers and various law enforcement agencies, the Ministry of Emergencies, firefighters and surveyors. According to the instructions of the President of Russia, University 2035, together with the Agency for the Development of Professional Excellence, develop and approve the list of professions for drones, establish qualification requirements for such professions, assign qualifications for them and conduct an independent qualification assessment.
