Peskov explained the classification of the data according to the West’s economic war against Russia.

MOSCOW, January 29 – RIA Novosti. Those involved in the development of Russia’s economic policy have access to all the data they need, for a wider range of information, some information is not disclosed due to the West’s hybrid war against Russia, declaration Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.

“There is a hybrid war and an economic war against Russia. So under these circumstances it is natural for us to keep this data confidential. Everyone who needs to know, everyone involved in the economic policy making process, has access to all the data, statistics, etc.”

According to the newspaper, there are allegedly discussions in Russian ruling circles about whether more information about the economic situation in the country should be declassified.

The West has increased the pressure on Russia through Ukraine, which has led to higher electricity, fuel and food prices in Europe and the United States. Russian President Vladimir Putin has previously stated that the policy of containing and weakening Russia is a long-term strategy of the West and that the sanctions deal a serious blow to the entire global economy. According to him, the main purpose of the West is to make the lives of millions of people worse. The Russian Federation has repeatedly stated that Russia will solve all the problems that the West has created for itself.
