Shadayev instructed the head of the Russian Post to present a new development strategy in the first quarter
MOSCOW, February 2 – RIA Novosti. Maksut Shadayev, head of the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, instructed the head of Russian Post, Mikhail Volkov, to present a new development strategy for the company and proposals for cost optimization in the first quarter of 2023.
As can be understood from the message, the meeting discussed the modernization of rural post offices, which will continue in 2023. It was added that regional administrations will be involved to control the modernization process, which will report on the work done.
Also, the head of the ministry and the head of the company discussed the construction of a new postal center in the village of Ugolnye Kopi in Chukotka. Shadayev asked for information about the current state of the construction site and the general financial condition of the facility, regarding complaints from residents about the work of the post office.
In December 2019, the Russian Post Board of Directors adopted and approved the company’s development strategy for the period from 2020 to 2030. In May 2021, the company’s board of directors approved an updated company development strategy for the period up to 2030.
