Mishustin: Russia has its own counterparts for about 85 percent of foreign software
ALMA-ATA, February 3 – RIA Novosti. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that Russia has its own analogues for most foreign software, and work is underway to fine-tune them according to the specific needs of business and industries.
“For the majority of foreign software – already about 85% – there are Russian analogues. We began to fine-tune them for the specific needs of business and industries. We support the creation of new software products,” said Mishustin. On Friday, at the plenary session of the Alma-Ata Digital Forum.
He reminded that a system of qualification centers has been established in Russia in which more than 500 Russian companies are involved.
The Russian prime minister emphasized that the centers are working on a competitive product that can not only replace foreign analogues, but also enter the international market in the future.
“When choosing the projects, the possibility of their replication, the export potential, the readiness to be implemented in other countries were taken into account. I am absolutely sure that the partners in the Eurasian Economic Union will at least be interested in this,” Mishustin said.
