MOSCOW, May 20 – RIA Novosti. In 2021, Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) fined a total of 65.3 million rubles for violating the rights of citizens when connecting gas to gas distribution organizations (GMOs), reported inside the section.

“In 2021, FAS Russia fined gas distribution organizations and authorities a total of 65.3 million rubles for violating the rights of citizens during gas connection,” the report says.

The agency issued 549 decisions of violations, of which 417 were for violation of the terms of the technical terms of the contract and the fee calculation procedure, 84 for unreasonable refusal or refusal to sign a contract, 48 for imposing adverse conditions.

In 2021, on behalf of the President, the Russian government began to implement a socially oriented gasification system. It assumes a gradual increase in the level of gasification of the country from 71% in 2020 to 82.9% in 2030, and the implementation of accelerated additional gasification of households in already gasified regions in 2021-2022 without attracting funds from citizens.
