Deliveries of the Russian regional passenger aircraft “Ladoga” will begin in 2026
MOSCOW, February 8 – RIA Novosti. Maxim Kharin, head of the sales and marketing department of the Ural Civil Aviation Plant, said that deliveries of the Russian regional passenger aircraft Ladoga will begin in 2026, the first flight is scheduled for the first quarter of 2024.
“First flight – Q1 2024… Start of deliveries – 2026,” Kharin said in his presentation at the NAIS Civil Aviation Infrastructure Forum and Expo.
The first flight of the TVRS-44 “Ladoga” model is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2023, and the second for the second quarter of 2024. The type certificate is planned to be obtained in 2024.
“Ladoga” is a 40-50-seat turboprop regional airliner designed to replace the fleets of former state aviation and regional airlines, both Soviet (An-24, An-26B-100, Yak-40) and Western. (Dash 8- 200, Dash 8Q-300, ATR-42) flight range improvements with a maximum payload of over 1 thousand kilometers. The project is carried out by the Ural Civil Aviation Factory by order of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
