Governor Burkov discussed the issue of subsidies to gas stations with Deputy Prime Minister Novak

OMSK, February 10 – RIA Novosti. Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak paid a working visit to the Omsk Region and discussed with Governor Alexander Burkov the subsidies for the development of gas infrastructure and the construction of gas stations in the region, said in the press service of the regional government.

Alexander Novak noted that the Omsk region is actively developing. The region has a high industrial production index and socio-economic development indicators. According to him, this requires the development of energy and additional connectivity of consumers. One of the main topics of the meeting was the development of gas filling infrastructure. There are 11 gas stations in the Omsk region, six of which were commissioned in 2022 and one in January of this year. Authorities plan to subsidize the construction of nine more gas stations.

“Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin has given us the task to reduce the level of air pollution in Omsk by 20% by 2024. An important step in this direction is the conversion of vehicles to gas. We have already purchased 400 passenger buses. use as fuel, this year special “We’re starting to subsidize the conversion of cars to natural gas,” he said.

The governor also said that gasification continues in the region within the framework of the Gazprom program. The company’s investments for these purposes amounted to 18 billion rubles. Two sales points and two gas distribution stations have already been built. Also, the head of the region said that additional volumes of natural gas will be required if two Omsk thermal power plants from Kazakh coal are transferred.

“This will reduce the overall volume of emissions of pollutants into atmospheric air, as well as solve the problem of accumulation of ash and slag waste, but it is important that these measures do not affect consumers,” the regional government’s press service said. Additional.
