“The postponement of the meeting from March 1 to next Wednesday is due to the need to consider the laws important to the country’s budget by the end of the month,” the Senator said.
Zhuravlev noted that this was due to the need to immediately address two important laws before the end of the month. “We expect the State Duma to accept them by then, given their special social significance,” he said.
According to him, we are talking about changes in budget legislation. “A new tool – it is planned to introduce special treasury loans to the regions. 250 billion rubles will be allocated for these purposes on behalf of the President of Russia. The citizens of the Russian Federation will be able to use these funds to implement infrastructure projects. They will also be used to build social facilities on the territory of new subjects” – the legislator explained.
Zhuravlev noted that the loan term will be up to 15 years with the right to early repayment at a rate of 3% per annum. “Fast approval of this initiative will allow regions to use this mechanism earlier, including for the purpose of enhanced financing of social facilities important to citizens,” the politician said. said.
