Manturov: Delivery of SSJ New and MS-21 abroad not possible before 2025

Deliveries of Russian SSJ New and MS-21 aircraft to neighboring countries are possible before 2025, to non-CIS countries – after 2027, while full saturation of the domestic market remains a priority, Deputy Prime Minister – Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Industry and Trade Denis Manturov told reporters .
“First of all, we have to provide the domestic market to the end. There is a certain year that we need to work in the domestic market, taking into account all the decisions taken by the Presidency and the government, and the consolidated civil order. Therefore, I think we are talking about possible supplies to distant countries, this is exactly after 2027-2028, I can say. As for the near abroad, I think we will already create and place contracts after 2025-2026. Answering a question about the overseas procurement of MS-21 and SSJ New,” he said.
He also announced that interest in the Russian SSJ New and MS-21 continues in neighboring countries. “We are not very interested in distant countries in the short term,” Manturov said.
