Yaroslavl Region Governor Mikhail Evraev said that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s message to the Federal Assembly is comprehensive, specific and very informative, and that the decisions taken at the federal level will give an additional impetus to the development of the regions.
On Tuesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a message to the Federal Assembly.
“Comprehensive, specific and very informative message from Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin … The head of state outlined the main tasks on which joint efforts should be focused. All this is the key to the socio-economic well-being of the country. At the federal level, many decisions have been taken that will give an additional impetus to the development of the regions. This is the possibility of preferential mortgages for employees working in defense enterprises and solutions in the field of housing and communal services , health and an increase in the minimum wage,” said Evraev, quoted by the press service of the regional government.
The head of the region emphasized the importance that it will be possible to use the funds allocated in the federal budget for 2024 for national projects through interest-free treasury loans.
“These funds will be used for projects aimed at improving social infrastructure, repairing roads, public spaces and solving other important problems. These are the areas where people have the most problems. All this will positively affect the level of life and quality of the region” – said Mikhail Evraev. He noted that the Yaroslavl region always tries to be ahead in the implementation of national projects.
According to the governor, both the defense and civil sectors are developing in the economy of the Yaroslavl region. He noted that in a number of enterprises, production volumes increased several times. In particular, the radio facility has increased its output fivefold.
“Yaroslavl manufacturers fill the vacant niches. On behalf of the regional government, we will continue to do everything to develop industry, construction, agro-industrial sector and tourism. The emergence of new jobs, the increase in the level and the development of the quality of life and social infrastructure in the Region depend on it,” he said.
