According to the governor, the high performance of the regional economy today is the result of the planned work of the regional government. The governor reminded that in March last year, an anti-sanctions headquarters was created in the Yaroslavl region, which he headed.

First Deputy Prime Minister of the region Maxim Avdeev commented on the trends noted by the president in the modern economy: maintaining employment in business, ensuring demand in the domestic market, mastering the production of new products.

“These trends are typical for the area of ​​small and medium enterprises in the Yaroslavl region. According to the results of last year, there were 49.6 thousand SMEs in the region, 0.5% more than in 2021. More than 44 thousand self-employed people were also registered. In total, in the sector SMEs currently employ more than 235,000 people in the region, which is 12% higher than planned for 2022.”
