KRASNOYARSK, March 1 – RIA Novosti. The Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation plans to legislate the types of tourism for specially protected natural areas, Irina Makanova, head of the relevant department of the ministry, said at the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum.
“Unfortunately, the regulatory definition of tourism activities does not reflect and does not define certain types of tourism, including ecological tourism, which is of vital importance for our sector… In the regulation that we have prepared to amend the legislation on specially protected natural areas, we have chosen to give a definition of tourism in protected areas. . This definition encompasses all possible types of tourism,” he said.
He noted that there are more than 250 specially protected natural areas in Russia, covering 13% of the country’s territory. According to him, now these areas are becoming more and more popular with tourists.
KEF-2023 will take place on March 1-3 in Krasnoyarsk in an offline and online format. The main platform will be the Siberian Federal University. On March 1, the first day of KEF, the youth platform “Generation-2035” will work. This year’s theme is “Future Professionals: Education and Career”. The work program of the forum covers two days on 2-3 March, its architecture is published on the forum kef.rf website.
