st. Petersburg, March 3 – RIA Novosti. The representative of the press service of the regional administration, told RIA Novosti, that according to the results of 2022, agricultural production in the Leningrad Region increased by 2.7% compared to the previous year.
According to him, the total production of food and agricultural products in 2022 amounted to 118.6 billion rubles, of which agricultural enterprises produced products worth 97 billion rubles (102.5% by 2021).
“Compared to 2021, 3.4% more milk (680.4 thousand tons), meat – 2.4% more (372.7 thousand tons), eggs – 1.7% more (3.5 grain production) 15.5%, potatoes – 14.1%, vegetables) produced – 7.2%,” said the press service.
From the range of finished food products, the volume of sausage production in the Leningrad Region increased by 46%, butter – 41%, confectionery – 21%, cheese and cottage cheese – 16%.

“Our success is the result of a comprehensive production development program, which has been systematically implemented in the region for several years and has successfully passed the tests of recent times.
