Sharjah (Al-Ittihad)

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted the first meeting of the Board of Directors of the Federation of Chambers of the Emirates in 2023, chaired by Abdullah Mohammed Al Mazruei, Chairman of the Board and President of the Chamber of Abu Dhabi and present. Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Vice President of the Federation of Chambers of the Emirates, President of the Chamber of Sharjah and members of the 14-member Council representing the Chambers (Abu Dhabi – Dubai – Sharjah – Ajman – Umm Al Quwain – Ras Al Khaimah – Fujairah ), Hamid Mohammed bin Salem, Secretary General of the Federation of Chambers of the Emirates, Directors General of Chambers of Commerce and representatives of the Ministry of Economy.
The meeting addressed many topics of interest to businessmen, as well as the initiatives, events and conferences that the Federation of Chambers of the Emirates will implement in the near future with the member chambers and the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Economy. The objective is to serve businessmen and contribute to strengthening the position of the UAE’s private sector globally. Abdullah Al Mazruei highlighted the importance of the role assigned to them and expected by the Federation of Chambers of the Emirates in the coming period, which will ensure the services and development of the private sector and the support of the government to achieve the goals of the vision. We are Emirates 2031” through the private sector, playing its role as a key partner in building and inclusive development.
