MOSCOW, March 10 – RIA Novosti. RIA Novosti was told in the press service of the bank that since the beginning of the year, Sberbank has been testing the possibility of paying for purchases in the purchasing network of more than 1,000 rubles without a pin code.
They added that the limit increase makes it possible to make the payment experience of customers easier while maintaining the level of security of transactions that also meet market standards.
At the end of 2020, the Mir payment system allowed banks to set a payment limit of up to 3 thousand rubles for purchases without a PIN code on their cards. Thus, Sberbank can increase the limit up to this threshold.
