Ukrenergo announces plans to centralize the energy system with Western support
MOSCOW, March 16 – RIA Novosti. Volodymyr Kudrytsky, chairman of the board of the national energy company Ukrenergo, said that the government plans to implement its strategy of localizing the Ukrainian energy system by building generation capacities, and international support is trying to “seize the moment”.
As Ursula von der Leyen, president of the European Commission, previously reported, the European Union has prepared about 6,000 solar panels donated by Italian manufacturer Enel for shipment to Ukraine.
He noted that the government will transparently withdraw funds and use it to build a new energy system. According to him, a pilot project involving 6,000 solar panels will contribute to the implementation of the energy system decentralization strategy.

Ukrenergo will measure the actual electricity consumption in each region
