The strategic session “Fashion and retail in Uzbekistan. Development vector, new trends, demand for sustainability” brought together young designers and well-known experts in the fashion industry from Russia and Uzbekistan, gave an overview of the market, socio-cultural trends and economic factors. demand for ecology, social responsibility, niche fashion, economic indicators and living standards, retail development level and opportunities for Russian and Uzbek entrepreneurs to cooperate and search for joint projects.

On the second day of the business trip, a business breakfast was held at the facilities of the largest textile clusters in Uzbekistan, dedicated to contract manufacturing and business opportunities.

After the business breakfast, the participants visited a factory for the production of cotton knitted fabrics and a garment factory, and evaluated the potential of fabric import in Uzbekistan and the possibilities of ordering for sewing collections.

In the field of business mission, a mini showroom worked, where participants from Russia and Uzbekistan presented samples of their products such as clothing, textiles and accessories. The exhibition of more than 20 young brands excited the visitors.

As part of the business program, the participants exchanged experiences in promoting their brands, opening production workshops in Uzbekistan, participating in fashion incubators and other government support programs organized in both countries. The event was held with the support and cooperation of Russia’s trade mission in Uzbekistan, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Uztekstilprom association.

More than 100 business meetings were held with Uzbek companies on the business mission site, including informal networking during the business program and business breakfast.

Among the guests of the event are specialized associations, retailers, distributors, fabric manufacturers and textile industry enterprises that provide services in the localization of clothing production.
