Rosaviatsia Vice President Vladimir Poteshkin and Turkish Civil Aviation Authority President Kemal Yüksek held consultations in Ankara on the development of air traffic between the two countries, during which a high level of bilateral cooperation was noted. In the upcoming IATA Summer 2023 season, we discussed the operational issues of air transport between Russia and Turkey, including separately discussing the issue of fuel supply for Russian airlines’ aircraft in Turkey.
“During the consultations, it was noted that the issue of the flight of Russian and Turkish airlines is under the constant control of the aviation authorities of the two countries. The planned flights of Russian airlines for the IATA 2023 Summer season will be provided by ground handling services. In accordance with the commercial agreements previously concluded at the airports of the Republic of Turkey,” the statement said.
