Mishustin: Economic cooperation between Russia and China is developing successfully despite sanctions
MOSCOW, March 21 – RIA Novosti. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that despite the sanctions and turbulence in global markets, trade and economic cooperation between Russia and China is developing successfully.
“From the negative external situation, turbulence in global markets, increased sanctions from the collective West, the successful development of trade and economic cooperation between Russia and China is important,” he said during a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Mishustin reminded that last year, mutual trade increased by almost a third and approached 190 billion dollars.
“I believe that this year we will fulfill the task set by you and Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin to increase trade turnover to $200 billion,” he said.
