Deputy Prime Minister Golikova: The trend of working to reduce poverty will continue in 2023
MOSCOW, March 23 – RIA Novosti. Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said that the trend of working to reduce poverty will continue in 2023, after a report in the State Duma on the work of the government.
He noted that in the fourth quarter of 2022, good indicators of poverty reduction were achieved, mainly due to the indexation of the minimum wage, the subsistence minimum, pensions and the introduction of new benefits for low-income families.
“All this contributed to the change in poverty indicators we received in the fourth quarter of 2022,” the Deputy Prime Minister said.
