Ukrainian national agency included Raiffeisen Bank in its international list of “sponsors of the war”
MOSCOW, March 23 – RIA Novosti. Ukrainian National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) has added the Austrian banking group Raiffeisen Bank International to its list of international “sponsors of the war”.
“The NACP has included the Austrian banking group Raiffeisen Bank International in its list of international sponsors of the war for the continuation of the bank’s operation in Russia and official recognition through the so-called DPR and LPR representation in Russia.” said the telegraph channel of the department.
The NAPC expressed dissatisfaction with Raiffeisen’s Russian branch’s recognition of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, providing favorable loan terms to the Russian army, and also the use of the phrase “special military operation” in the documents.
Previously, NAPC included the French company Auchan Holding and the Italian company Buzzi Unicem in its international list of “sponsors of the war” for the same reason.
