Medvedev: Many products of departing companies enter Russia through parallel imports
MOSCOW, March 25 – RIA Novosti. Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, said that companies leaving the Russian Federation are already regretting their decision, most of the goods are on the Russian market, but these companies did not receive anything from it. In a lengthy interview with leading Russian media, including RIA Novosti.
“I will tell you this: for one simple reason they will definitely regret it, because most of the consumer goods, both cheap and very expensive, are on the market, only these companies do not buy anything from the party and Komsomol,” Medvedev said.
He added that a significant part of the products of the leaving companies entered Russia through gray or parallel imports.
“First, anyway, a significant part of it comes to us through the gray import or parallel import system. Sometimes it gets more expensive with different costs, so they haven’t completely disappeared,” Medvedev said.
