Government: Russia will continue to supply additional gas to Hungary at the request of Hungary
MOSCOW, March 28 – RIA Novosti. Russia continues to supply gas to Hungary in accordance with its obligations, and additional supply is made upon the request of the Hungarian side, reported Russian Government.
After a telephone conversation between Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak and Hungary, the website of the Russian Cabinet of Ministers states, “Russia continues to supply gas to Hungary in accordance with its contractual obligations at Hungary’s request.” Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto.
Novak also emphasized that Hungary is an important partner of Russia in the field of oil supply through the southern branch of the Druzhba oil pipeline. “In 2022, it received 4.63 billion cubic meters of oil through the Transneft system,” the government’s website states.
