MOSCOW, March 31 – RIA Novosti. In the ROAD profile association to RIA Novosti, auto dealers predict an almost double increase in the share of sales of new passenger cars of Chinese brands in Russia in 2023 – up to 32%, or up to 250 thousand units in absolute terms. .
At the same time, according to ROAD, 18% of the sales of Chinese automobile brands were sold in 2022, or 124,6 thousand new cars. Thus, their share is expected to nearly double this year.
As Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov, head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, has already noted, an increase in sales of new cars is expected in the Russian automobile market in 2023. It is also expected to rise slightly by 7%, according to analysts of “TeDo” (formerly PwC).
