US Department of Commerce extends Russian Aeroflot’s export restrictions for 180 days
WASHINGTON, March 31 – RIA Novosti. The U.S. has extended export restrictions on Russia’s leading air carrier, Aeroflot, by 180 days, the U.S. Department of Commerce said on Friday.
This regulation enters into force immediately and remains in effect for 180 days.
The document states that the US Department of Commerce began to actively implement export control measures against the Russian Federation shortly after the start of the special operation in Ukraine. Therefore, as stated in the department, States expect to “severely limit Russia’s access to technologies and other items needed to maintain an offensive military potential.”
