Northwest Parliamentary Union proposes new support measures for NWO members
ARKHANGELSK, April 7 – RIA Novosti. North-West parliamentarians are proposing to amend the law on credit holidays for NWO participants and mobilized citizens, specifically to allow family members to apply to banks with an application for early repayment of a loan on behalf of those in it. The press service of the Legislative Assembly reported the war zone as the Arkhangelsk region.
Various initiatives aimed at supporting the participants in the special military operation were discussed at the standing committee meeting on legal issues of the Parliamentary Union of the North-West of Russia, held in Arkhangelsk.

A branch of the fund will be opened in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug to support those involved in the special operation
“Legislators proposed a number of changes to the federal law regarding credit holidays for SVO participants and mobilized citizens. In particular, it was proposed that family members of mobilized borrowers be given the right to apply to banks on their behalf with an application. For early repayment of the loan,” the report says.
As explained in the press service, SVO participants cannot independently contact the bank in hostile conditions or use mobile communication for this, and banks cannot refuse early repayment of the loan to family members without a power of attorney. According to the parliamentarians, an amendment to the legislation will reduce the debt burden and improve the financial situation of the families of the Defenders of the Fatherland.
The profile committee also supported the draft PASZR appeal to the President of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin and the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin. The document proposes to supplement the norms of federal law and prohibit the financial managers of banks from blocking the bank accounts of debtors – military personnel, to which monetary payments related to participation in a special operation are transferred.
There is no ban on transactions on bank accounts and deposits of military personnel who have already been declared bankrupt. However, in practice, there are situations when SVO participants are not able to independently manage their “war” cash payments, since financial managers, guided by the provisions of the “Bankruptcy (Bankruptcy)” Act, block their bank accounts.
“Laws to support our fighters and their families are passed very quickly and not everything can be taken into account immediately. Relatives of the soldiers turn to us with requests to change the legislation. We, together with our colleagues, are trying to settle everything. In the message of the chairman of the Arkhangelsk Regional Chamber of Deputies, Ekaterina Prokopyeva, ” There are moments at the regional and federal level so that people are not left alone with their problems,” the expressions were used.

The experience of psychological assistance to NWO participants of Yakutia will be included in the ASI platform
