AvtoVAZ: Prices of Lada cars increased by an average of 2% in Russia

Now the cost of the basic equipment of Lada Granta is from 692,300 thousand (+2%). The initial price tag has also changed for the Granta liftback – up to 722,300 thousand (+3.4%), Granta station wagon – up to 719,300 thousand (+2%), Granta Cross – up to 837,900 thousand (+2.3%) and Granta Drive Active – up to 827,900 (+2.2%). At the same time, the cost of the Granta hatchback remained unchanged – 778,500 thousand.

Notably, the price of the base configuration of Niva Travel rose to 1,042,900 (2.8%).

AvtoVAZ President Maxim Sokolov announced the price increase at the end of April and stated that the price increase of brand models will not exceed the inflation rate until the end of 2023. According to the latest estimate of the Ministry of Economic Development, it is expected to be at the level of 5.3%.

This is the second price increase for the Lada this year. When their cost last increased in March – also by an average of 2%.
