“Concerning the suspension of flights and the sale of tickets, Air Moldova makes the following statements: flights suspended from May 2 to May 15, 2023,” the company said in a statement.
Passengers who receive a flight cancellation e-mail can request a full refund of the ticket price. The rest should contact the carrier’s representatives.
“With the court’s approval of the expedited restructuring petition, Air Moldova will resume flights and ticket sales,” the statement said.
Air Moldova representatives explained this with operational and financial problems. The company had to cancel 46 flights between April 21-25. During an unscheduled inspection, the company was instructed to pay passengers the compensation due for canceled flights. In response, it applied to the court for permission to restructure to attract investors. Since May 2, flights and ticket sales have been suspended.
