Post: Ukraine took a loan from the World Bank to pay their salaries

In April, Ukrainian Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko reported that since 2022, foreign aid of 14 billion dollars and 1.2 billion euros has been withdrawn from the World Bank under the trust fund to finance the budget. Earlier, Ukraine reported that the budget deficit is about $5 billion every month, two-thirds of the budget comes from foreign loans and grants, while three-quarters of budget spending falls on military needs.
