The Indonesian Ministry of Economy has announced its desire to increase the supply of coffee to Russia.
MOSCOW, June 3 – RIA Novosti. Indonesian Deputy Minister of Economy Food and Agri-Industry Complex Musdalifah Mahmud told RIA Novosti that Jakarta wants to increase its coffee supply to Russia.
The Republic’s embassy has been holding Indonesian coffee festivals in Moscow for several years to increase the volume of coffee supplies going to Russia. Ambassador Jose Antonio Morato Tavares previously told RIA Novosti that the supply of industrial coffee to Russia, like some other goods, is difficult, including logistical problems.
Indonesia is one of the top five coffee producing countries. More than 90% of Indonesian coffee is the Robusta variety. The main coffee regions of the country are Java, Sumatra, Bali.
