The government will buy the bonds of three airlines from NWF for 17 billion rubles
MOSCOW, June 2 – RIA Novosti. The government will also capitalize Ural Airlines, Sibir and Aurora airlines in the amount of 17 billion rubles, at the expense of the National Wealth Fund, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported. The relevant decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
This amount will be spent from NWF to buy back the bonds of the three air carriers. It is planned to allocate more than 13.7 billion rubles for the purchase of securities of Siberian Airlines. Ural Airlines – a little less than 3 billion, Aurora – about 366 million rubles, respectively
The government described the signed document as part of a series of measures aimed at ensuring the development of the Russian economy in the face of foreign sanctions. This measure is expected to support carriers.
