Government approves parameters for agricultural drone use in 12 regions

In the document, “An experiment will be carried out in 12 regions of Russia within the framework of special legal regimes, which will allow the use of unmanned aerial systems to control pests in agriculture. The relevant decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.” .

The project will include Tatarstan, Altai and Stavropol regions, Astrakhan, Volgograd, Voronezh, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Saratov, Tambov and Ulyanovsk regions.
During the experiment, special regulatory conditions will apply, which are experimental legal regimes for the operation of unmanned aircraft systems in these regions.
The experiment will test a simplified legal regime for the mass use of drones in the agricultural sector.
